Hunt & Thorne is an independent practice, formed by Jason Thorne and Will Hunt with the objective of providing expert, hands-on advice to clients across all sectors of commercial property.

Based in offices at Swansea Enterprise Park, the practice has a focus on the Swansea Bay and South West Wales market, but with extensive knowledge and working experience in the wider South and Mid Wales markets.

Hunt & Thorne have a diverse client base, which includes private landlords, property companies, local authorities, government bodies and investment funds.  Their independent status means that the practice is regularly recommended by professionals in the business community, including solicitors and accountants.

Jason Thorne BSc (Hons) MRICS : Director

After graduating from Kingston University with a degree in Estate Management in 1992, Jason joined local Swansea firms Astleys and then Poolman Harlow. He became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1996 and equity director of Poolman Harlow in 2003. Lambert Smith Hampton acquired Poolman Harlow in 2006, where Jason spent 15 years dealing with commercial agency in the Swansea and Cardiff office. In March 2021 Jason set up Hunt & Thorne Ltd with his fellow LSH director, Will Hunt. Jason has experience in all types of agency work and set up the property management division of Poolman Harlow. During his career Jason has acted for the following national and international clients: BBC, IPIF, M7, Howdens Joinery, Travis Perkins, Rowland UK, Grant Thornton, City and County of Swansea, Pembrokeshire Council, Sanlam, St Modwens, WPD , Hendersons, Paloma Capital, Westbrook Property, together with a whole host of regional and local clients.

Will Hunt BA (Hons), PGDip Real Estate, MRICS : Director

Will Hunt has been practicing within the commercial property industry in South Wales since 2004, specialising in agency, property management, valuation and lease advisory. Will is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified in 2008. Will previously worked for a corporate property consultancy between 2006 and 2021, where he was a Director dealing with all sectors of the commercial property market advising a range of organisations including, Aberdeen Asset Management, Wolseley, British Red Cross, TUI, Hermes, Welsh National Opera, Public Service Ombudsman For Wales, Investec and Helical Bar.
